RELEASE: United States Navy Memorial Announces New Members to Board of Directors for 2026
The U.S. Navy Memorial welcomes Tim Paynter, Giao Phan, Scott Sloan and Barbara Supplee.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Navy Memorial is pleased to announce the appointment of four distinguished leaders for 2026 with deep ties to the Sea Services:
Tim Paynter, Vice President of Strategic Communications for BAE Systems, Inc., Navy Veteran
Giao Phan, Board Member of Serco North America; Former Executive Director of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)
Scott Sloan, President/CEO of StratasCorp Technologies, Navy Veteran
Barbara Supplee, Executive Vice President, Army Navy Business Group at SAIC, Navy Veteran
They not only bring decades of experience in leadership, strategic communications, and business development, but each of them also offers a unique perspective that will support the U.S. Navy Memorial’s mission – honoring the past, informing the present, and inspiring the future.
