Honoring: YNC Adrien Clark

Adrien was an E-2 when we first met in San Diego. He kicked off an admirable career, and when I needed a new Flag Writer at Allied Command Transformation, NATO ACT, he was the one I called! Then a YNC, Adrien swung into action and set a standard for all.

He ran my very busy schedule, helped to write my speeches and draft my correspondence, was a stalwart and stable presence in my office and overseas, always there for me to count on. Adrien believed in being “the best he could” and that included his own personal development. He earned his BA and MA while serving, and was always available to counsel and mentor young Sailors.

I have observed Adrien for almost his entire adult life! He is a tremendously moral person who gives back to his church, community and country. He currently works for the City of Dallas and I could not be more proud of his achievements and life contributions. BZ YNC Clark!
