Fleet Master Chief Petty Officer Charles Clark, USN (Ret.)
Fleet Master Chief Petty Officer Charles "Chuck" Clarke entered the Navy in April, 1987 at Recruit Training Command in San Diego, CA. He attended Seaman Apprenticeship Training in San Diego, CA and Disbursing Clerk Class "A" School in Meridian, MS.
His previous assignments have included, Disbursing Clerk onboard USS Dubuque (LPD-8) homeported in Sasebo, Japan; Military Pay Supervisor at Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Forty in Port Hueneme, CA; Military Pay Supervisor at Recruit Training Command and PSD Point Loma in San Diego, CA; Deputy Disbursing Officer onboard USS Mount Vernon (LSD-39) homeported in San Diego, CA; Command Career Counselor at Naval Support Activity, La Maddalena, Italy; Command Career Counselor for PCD Iwo Jima in Norfolk, VA; Plank-Owner and Career Information Program Manager onboard USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) homeported Norfolk, VA; ISIC Career Counselor and Career Information Program Manager for COMHELTACWINGLANT in Norfolk, VA; Career Information Program Manager and Executive DEPT LCPO onboard USS Kitty Hawk (CVN-63), homeported in Yokosuka, Japan.

Master Chief Clarke most recently served as the Command Master Chief for Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command/FIFTH Fleet/Combined Maritime Forces in Manama, Bahrain. He was responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the enlisted force and advice to Navy leadership to achieve the mission and maintain combat-readiness throughout the FIFTH Fleet AOR.
He is a veteran of 9 Western Pacific Deployments and one RIMPAC Exercise. He deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm from September, 1990 - March 1991 and Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom from July 2009 - March 2010.
His military and civilian education includes Disbursing Clerk Class A and C Schools, Command Career Counselor School and multiple shipboard damage control, fire fighting, and Naval Leadership Courses. He's a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 114 Green), the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class #38), and the National Defense University Keystone Course. He's earned an Associate's Degree from National University in San Diego, California, a Bachelor's Degree from Excelsior College and a Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
