Commander Harry Coker Jr. USN (Ret.)

Harry Coker Jr is the proud the son of a Navy Chief and a Navy Wife. He is honored to have had the opportunity to serve our Nation for forty-three years as a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and National Security Agency (NSA) senior executive and as a Navy officer.

Coker’s key assignments included service as the Executive Director of NSA and leadership positions in CIA’s Directorate of Science & Technology (DS&T), Directorate of Digital Innovation (DDI), and the Director’s Area. Coker’s service to the Nation was recognized with the awarding of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, the NSA Director’s Distinguished Service Medal, the Presidential Rank Award, the Intelligence Community EEOD Outstanding Leadership Award, and CIA’s Don Cryer Award for Diversity & Inclusion.

Coker is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the US Naval Academy Foundation, the Navy Memorial, and Dog Tag, Inc. He is on the Advisory Boards of Veeam Government Solutions, Microsoft Azure Mission Concept Advisory Board, and Historic Ships in Baltimore. Coker is also a research fellow of the University of Oxford’s Changing Character of War Centre's program on national security and technology, and Auburn University’s McCrary Institute of Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security.

Coker is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy (B.S., 1980), the Naval Postgraduate School (M.S., 1987) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1992).
