STUDENT INTERVIEW PROGRAM

The Stories of Service Program at the United States Navy Memorial was established "with one purpose in mind, to preserve the stories of our Nation's Veterans and Active Service Personnel." It is with this goal that a new initiative has been created. This new initiative takes all of the past successes of the Stories of Service Program and now welcomes students to join a National effort of preserving the stories of our Nation’s Veterans.

Mission

The United States Navy Memorial Student Interview Program is a National initiative, led by the United States Navy Memorial, which partners with our Nation’s schools to preserve American History. Oral histories of United States Military Veterans, Active Duty Personnel, Civilian Government Employees associated with the sea services, and Family Members of Veterans will be digitally recorded and added to our archives to preserve the stories of the past for future generations.
