The Naval Heritage Center is located in the heart of the Penn Quarter and teaches visitors about the history and heritage of the men and women of the United States Navy – past, present and future. Just off the Memorial plaza, the center has timely and informative interactive exhibits and screens several movies daily, including the Discovery Channel's "At Sea" and "A Year in the Life of A Navy Supply Corps Officer." Screenings will not be shown in the Burke Theater June 5th through 7th due to the installation of new theater chairs. "At Sea" will be played during normal business hours in the Media Resource Center.
Conveniently located on Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. (between 7th and 9th Streets), the United States Navy Memorial honors the men and women of the United States Navy – past, present and future.
