The Navy Log - Register

What is the Navy Log?
Established in the 1980s as the permanent National Registry of Sea Service, the Navy Log records service information of present and former members of the Sea Services, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Merchant Marine. All living or deceased service members – past and present – are eligible to register.
Information registered in the Navy Log is available to the public 24 hours a day on this web site, as well as during regular business hours in the Navy Log room at the Navy Memorial’s Naval Heritage Center in Washington, D.C.
The goal of the United States Navy Memorial is to have the records of all eligible veterans and service members entered into the Navy Log. More than half a million people are listed in the Log, but there are millions more who can, and should be enrolled. Enroll yourself, your shipmate, your family member or your friend today and preserve these records of service forever!
