How To Find Official Navy Records

Navy Log Records
The Navy Log records service information of present and former members of the Sea Services, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Merchant Marine.  All living or deceased members – past and present – are eligible to register. 

Information registered in the Navy Log is available to the public 24 hours a day on this web site, as well as during regular business hours in the Navy Log room at the Navy Memorial’s Naval Heritage Center in Washington, D.C.

**The Navy Log does not contain official, government records of those who have served in the Sea Services.**
