The United States Navy Memorial

Navy Memorial Honor, recognize, & celebrate the men and women of the sea services.

Welcome to The United States Navy Memorial

Rest in peace Shipmates, we have the watch.

We at the Navy Memorial will grieve our fallen shipmates by honoring their service. Naval Service is tied to the past: "Don't give up the ship" was Captain James Lawrence's dying command aboard USS Chesapeake in 1813. The entire crew of USS Fitzgerald DDG-62 did exactly that: they did not give up their ship to flooding and seven sailors paid the ultimate sacrifice. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
