U. S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy
Since September 14, 1981, the Senior Enlisted Academy has been the pinnacle of enlisted professional military education in the Navy. Through a challenging nine-week educational experience, we promise to improve our students' already superior management and leadership abilities by exposing them to a variety of leadership models and encouraging them to solve problems in a systematic manner.
US Military Apprenticeship Program
The Navy's National Apprenticeship Program was established by written agreement between the Secretary of Labor and the Secretary of the Navy on 24 March 1976. The NNAP provides registered certification of the Sailor's naval training and work experience to achieve recognition equal to his / her civilian counterpart. An individual enrolled in the NNAP documents work experience accomplished while performing regular Navy duties. The NNAP is performed in unison with an individual's Navy job and is NOT a program to be worked after hours.
