The United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) is a unique U.S. Navy officer Corps with no exact counterpart in any other service or any other Navy in the world.

The primary mission of the CEC is to support the Fleet and U.S. Marine Corps shore establishment by providing professional facilities engineering services and management at all Navy and Marine Corps facilities worldwide.

Unveiling of the Seabees & Civil Engineer Corps Exhibit

Navy Memorial President RADM Rick Buchanan, USN (Ret.) and RADM Greg Shear, Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, unveil the new exhibit "The Year of the Seabees and Civil Engineering Corps: Can Do!" on April 4 during the Memorial's annual Blessing of the Fleet's ceremony.

In addition to the Seabees exhibit, Navy Memorial is featuring daily films about the Seabees in the state-of-the-art HD theatre. Every Saturday the featured matinee is The Fighting Seabees, starring John Wayne and Susan Hayward, courtesy of Republic Pictures.
